Unlacquered Solid Brass Cafe Curtain Rod with Eyelet Rings

Bring a warm finishing touch to kitchen windows and café curtains with this handcrafted solid brass curtain rod in an unlacquered finish. Its simple profile and matching eyelet rings complement relaxed linen and cotton window treatments.

Design and finish

• Handcrafted solid brass with an unlacquered finish.
• Warm golden color with reflective highlights and subtle darker tonal variation, as shown.
• Straight cylindrical pole with rounded end details and short mounting plates, shown with short café panels.
• Matching eyelet curtain rings supplied in the quantities below.
• A living finish that develops natural patina with handling and exposure.

Sizes and included rings

Choose the overall horizontal end-to-end width, not the fabric width or the spacing between mounting screws. Centimeter equivalents are provided for reference. Images show styling and do not represent every listed length.

The supplied ring allowance is four rings per foot of rod, rounded up to an even number, with a minimum of eight. This is a practical starting allowance, not a universal curtain requirement. For pleated panels, count the required attachment points on each panel; fuller curtains may need additional rings. Divide the supplied rings between the panels to suit their headings.

Specifications

What is included

The selected rod and the matching ring quantity listed above. Curtains, fabric panels and room furnishings shown are styling accessories and are not included. Confirm the mounting kit, any required center supports, and whether curtain pins or hooks must be purchased separately before ordering.

Measuring and installation

1. Measure the intended overall rod width and check clearance around the window, adjacent walls and trim.
2. Confirm rod diameter, wall projection, mounting-plate dimensions and suitability for the curtain weight with Kinycraft before purchase.
3. Ask a qualified installer to select fixings appropriate for the wall or frame. Check that concealed services are clear before drilling.
4. Fit closed rings before securing any non-removable ends. Follow the confirmed assembly instructions for your order.
5. Longer spans or joined rods may require intermediate supports. Standard closed rings cannot pass a conventional center support; plan panel movement accordingly.

Handcrafted solid brass and living finish

Made from solid brass and left without a protective lacquer, this hardware develops its own patina over time. Handling, moisture and the surrounding environment influence how quickly its color changes. Unlacquered describes the absence of lacquer; it does not specify an antique, brushed or polished surface treatment. Subtle variations in surface tone are part of the appearance shown.

Care

Dust with a soft dry cloth. For light marks, wipe gently with a slightly damp cloth and dry promptly. Avoid abrasive pads, harsh chemicals and acidic cleaners. Leave the brass to develop patina, or use a cleaner specifically suitable for unlacquered brass according to its instructions, testing an inconspicuous area first.

Frequently asked questions

Will the finish change over time?

Yes. Unlacquered brass naturally changes tone and develops patina. Lighting and screens can also affect how the photographed finish appears.

Are these clip rings?

The supplied design is shown with eyelet rings. Check the attachment requirements of your curtain heading; clips are not shown.

How many rings do I need?

Use the table as your supplied allowance. Final requirements depend on fabric width, fullness and heading style. For pleated curtains, count the pleats and edge attachment points.

Is the rod suitable for heavy curtains?

Ask Kinycraft to confirm the rod diameter, support arrangement and suitability for your curtain weight and span before ordering. No tested load rating is specified here.
