Multi-Bay Brass Back Bar Shelving with Ball Joints

A repeated lattice of brass posts and ball connectors gives this back bar shelving its expansive character. Multiple bays divide a wide display into clear sections, with configurations offering three to six shelf levels. Select the dimensions and shelf material as part of a coordinated counter, ceiling and service-space plan.

Design details

• Ball connectors define the intersections of the multi-bay frame.
• Front and rear post rows create depth across the display.
• Configurations range from two to five bays and three to six levels.
• The planned ceiling-to-counter arrangement integrates the frame with its setting.

Choose your shelf package

The price is for one shelving unit in the selected configuration. Select the shelf package independently from the frame finish.

Styled accessories, furniture, bottles, tableware, plants and books are excluded. Reference images show example configurations; the selected configuration and shelf option determine the order contents.

Sizes and configurations

All measurements are overall Width × Height × Depth. They are not usable shelf dimensions or panel cut sizes. Each bay is a section between upright support positions. The panel count shown applies when you select a supplied-shelf option; Frame Only has no shelf panels.

Confirm final panel cut sizes, shelf spacing and mounting details for the selected configuration before fabrication. Please do not cut locally sourced shelves from the overall frame dimensions.

Specifications

Finish and care

Choose Unlacquered Brass for a finish that develops a natural patina over time, or Antique Brass for an aged appearance. Clean gently with a soft damp cloth and dry afterward. Avoid abrasives and harsh cleaners; confirm the appropriate treatment before polishing an antique finish.

Measuring and installation

Measure the finished counter-to-ceiling distance at each post position, plus the full available width and depth. Allow room for lighting, ventilation, equipment, access and the intended display. Confirm fixing planes and clearances in the project installation plan.

Have a qualified installer review the full counter-to-ceiling fixing arrangement and display load. Confirm each post position, any required restraint and access for assembly before fabrication. Secure and align the entire frame before adding shelf panels.

Confirm the intended display load, shelf specification and any site-specific fixing requirements with your installer before installation. Arrange installation with a qualified installer.

Frequently asked questions

Are the shelf panels included?

Shelf panels are included only when you choose With Wooden Shelves, With Glass Shelves or With Brass-Covered Wooden Shelves. Frame Only includes no boards or glass. Each supplied-shelf option includes the full panel set for the selected layout.

What does brass-covered wood mean?

These shelves have a wooden core covered in brass. The brass is the outer surface; the entire panel is not solid brass. Confirm the final shelf specification for the selected configuration before fabrication.

How do I choose the correct size?

Measure the finished counter-to-ceiling distance at each post position, plus the full available width and depth. Allow room for lighting, ventilation, equipment, access and the intended display. Confirm fixing planes and clearances in the project installation plan. Dimensions in the table describe the overall frame. Confirm final shelf cut sizes separately before fabrication.

Is the price for one bay or the whole configured frame?

The displayed price covers one complete frame in the selected configuration, including all listed bays and levels. A supplied-shelf option adds the full set of panels shown for that configuration. Styled bottles, glassware and other accessories are excluded.

Will the brass finish change, and how should I care for it?

Unlacquered Brass develops a natural patina over time. Antique Brass starts with an aged appearance. Wipe gently with a soft damp cloth and dry afterward; avoid abrasive cleaners. Confirm finish-specific care before using a metal polish.

Can I request a different size or layout?

Send Kinycraft your overall width, height and depth, mounting surfaces, desired shelf levels and shelf material. The workshop can review the layout and confirm feasibility, final specifications and pricing before you order.
