Full-Height Ball Joint Brass Grid Shelving
-
Estimated delivery: Nov 10 - Nov 14
Hurry up, only 10 items left in stock.
Five shelf levels and a repeated grid of ball-joint connections give this full-height brass shelving an architectural presence. Front and rear post rows create depth within the frame, while its floor-to-ceiling form brings the display into the proportions of the room. Choose a supported bay layout and the shelf surface suited to your project.
Design details
- Five shelf levels form a tall, repeated display grid.
- Front and rear post rows distinguish the frame from a single-row wall-arm design.
- Ball connectors add rounded detail throughout the structure.
- Two- and three-bay configurations keep intermediate support positions within the wider frames.

The price is for one shelving unit in the selected configuration. Select the shelf package independently from the frame finish.

Finish and care
Choose Unlacquered Brass for a finish that develops a natural patina over time, or Antique Brass for an aged appearance. Clean gently with a soft damp cloth and dry afterward. Avoid abrasives and harsh cleaners; confirm the appropriate treatment before polishing an antique finish.
Measuring and installation
Measure the finished floor-to-ceiling height at each planned post position. Record the total width and depth, and check skirting, ceiling details, access and nearby services. Final fixing positions and installation clearances follow the project mounting plan.
Have a qualified installer review the floor, ceiling and any required wall restraint before fabrication. Confirm all post positions and the final bracing plan, then install and align the complete frame before fitting the shelf panels.
Confirm the intended display load, shelf specification and any site-specific fixing requirements with your installer before installation. Arrange installation with a qualified installer.
Made to order, delivery and returns

Eligible standard, non-custom products have a 30-day return window subject to the policy conditions. Once production begins, orders with personalized dimensions, custom finishes and other custom-made or large-project specifications are excluded from change-of-mind returns. Damaged, defective or incorrect goods are handled separately. Review the returns and refunds policy before placing your order.
Frequently asked questions
Are the shelf panels included?
Shelf panels are included only when you choose With Wooden Shelves, With Glass Shelves or With Brass-Covered Wooden Shelves. Frame Only includes no boards or glass. Each supplied-shelf option includes the full panel set for the selected layout.
What does brass-covered wood mean?
These shelves have a wooden core covered in brass. The brass is the outer surface; the entire panel is not solid brass. Confirm the final shelf specification for the selected configuration before fabrication.
How do I choose the correct size?
Measure the finished floor-to-ceiling height at each planned post position. Record the total width and depth, and check skirting, ceiling details, access and nearby services. Final fixing positions and installation clearances follow the project mounting plan. Dimensions in the table describe the overall frame. Confirm final shelf cut sizes separately before fabrication.
How does this differ from the three-level floor-to-ceiling model?
This design has five shelf levels and front and rear post rows forming a deeper grid. The three-level model uses a front post row with shelf arms connecting to the wall. Their support layouts and measuring requirements differ.
Will the brass finish change, and how should I care for it?
Unlacquered Brass develops a natural patina over time. Antique Brass starts with an aged appearance. Wipe gently with a soft damp cloth and dry afterward; avoid abrasive cleaners. Confirm finish-specific care before using a metal polish.
Can I request a different size or layout?
Send Kinycraft your overall width, height and depth, mounting surfaces, desired shelf levels and shelf material. The workshop can review the layout and confirm feasibility, final specifications and pricing before you order.

Materials & Care
Materials & Care
Authentic Solid Brass and Copper
Every Kinycraft piece is handcrafted from genuine copper or premium solid brass. We do not use lightweight plated metals or imitation finishes. Our materials are carefully selected for their strength, durability, natural beauty, and ability to develop character over time.
Because our products are handmade, slight variations in texture, hammering, color, and finish are natural. These differences are not defects—they make every piece unique.
Unlacquered Brass
Our unlacquered brass products are made from solid brass without a protective lacquer coating. They normally arrive with a bright, polished appearance and gradually develop a natural patina through exposure to air, moisture, oils, and everyday use.
The finish may become warmer, darker, or more aged over time. This natural transformation is known as a living finish and is part of the authentic character of unlacquered brass.
Customers who prefer the original shiny appearance can regularly polish the brass. Those who appreciate an aged, vintage look can allow the patina to develop naturally.
Copper
Our copper pieces are made from genuine copper and may be offered in polished, hammered, aged, oxidized, or custom patina finishes.
Like unlacquered brass, copper is a living material. Its color may naturally deepen or change over time depending on humidity, handling, water exposure, and the surrounding environment. These variations add warmth and individuality to each handcrafted product.
Daily Cleaning
For regular care:
- Clean the surface with a soft cloth, warm water, and mild soap.
- Rinse away any soap residue with clean water.
- Dry the item immediately with a soft, lint-free cloth.
- Wipe away water spots regularly, especially in hard-water areas.
- Use a soft microfiber cloth to avoid scratching the finish.
Maintaining a Shiny Finish
To preserve or restore a bright polished appearance:
- Use a brass or copper polish suitable for unlacquered metal.
- Apply a small amount using a soft cloth.
- Always test the product on a small, discreet area first.
- Polish gently and follow the product manufacturer’s instructions.
- Remove all remaining polish and buff the surface with a clean cloth.
Frequent polishing is optional. It should only be done when you wish to reduce or remove the natural patina.
Preserving the Natural Patina
To maintain the naturally aged appearance:
- Avoid metal polish and abrasive cleaning products.
- Clean gently using mild soap and water.
- Dry the surface after cleaning.
- Allow the finish to continue changing naturally.
- Avoid excessive rubbing, as this may create brighter areas.
Products to Avoid
Do not use:
- Bleach or chlorine-based cleaners
- Strong chemical cleaning sprays
- Abrasive powders or scouring pads
- Steel wool or hard brushes
- Oven cleaners or aggressive degreasers
- Highly acidic products unless specifically intended for brass or copper
Harsh products may stain, scratch, discolor, or permanently alter the metal finish.
Important Care Notes
Water quality, humidity, fingerprints, cleaning habits, and environmental conditions can affect how quickly brass and copper develop patina. Areas that are frequently touched may change color faster than less-used sections.
For faucets, sinks, showers, and bathroom accessories, drying the surface after use will help reduce mineral deposits and water marks. A soft cloth should be used around engraved, hammered, or detailed areas.
Natural patina, surface variation, and gradual color changes are expected characteristics of genuine unlacquered brass and copper. They are not considered manufacturing defects.
